Overview
A classic one-day grand loop in the Western Hajar linking four of Oman's most striking mountain villages and viewpoints. Following the marked W8a–W8b–W10h–W8 trails, you'll climb out of Balad Sayt, traverse high ridgelines past Hatt and Shorfet Al Alameen, summit near 2000 m, and descend through Birkat Sharaf back to the start. Expect dramatic canyon edges, terraced villages, juniper groves and sweeping views over Jebel Akhdar and Jebel Shams.
