Overview
Wadi Hatt is one of Oman's most beginner-friendly canyons, tucked into the Western Hajar mountains just next to the iconic village of Bald Sayt. The canyon combines short rope rappels, swimming through cool turquoise pools, natural rock slides and small jumps — a perfect first canyoning experience. After a 20-minute approach hike from the parking, you drop into the gorge with your guide and progress downstream through narrow corridors, waterfalls and pools. Summer is the best season — the canyon stays cool and shaded and offers the perfect escape from Oman's heat. In winter, the water gets cold, so we provide a wetsuit on request. All technical gear (helmet, harness, ropes, life jacket) is included. Transportation from Muscat is available as an optional add-on.
