Mornings start early. The first light hits the canyon rim around 6:30am, and by 7 we're drinking coffee with the door open. Breakfast is whatever the kitchen feels like — fresh khubz, eggs, dates, fruit.
Guests usually leave for the crag by 8 to catch shaded routes before the sun moves around. We're back at camp by lunchtime for a long, lazy meal in the courtyard. The afternoon is for napping, swimming in the falaj, or a second short climbing session if it's a cool day.
Dinner is around 7. Most evenings someone tells stories or someone else pulls out a guitar. Lights out is usually around 10 — when the only sound left is the stream.
